Polar and Adidas teaming up?

It looks as if Polar and Adidas are working together on some new products. A new website shows a kind of teaser movie, which makes the impression that a new footpod is being build into a pair of Adidas shoes, and that the WearLink device is in some way integrated to the clothes. It also looks as if a new "running computer" is in the pipeline. Interesting to see what comes out of it. A smaller and coded footpad could be great. Also, I expect most marketing divisions would love the ideas of marketing "intelligent clothes". :-)

Update: Oh, there is actually a press release from Polar being a little more specific about the new products in "Project Fusion":

"Included in the project are the adidas adiStar Fusion range of apparel (t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, bras, women's tops), the adidas adiStar Fusion shoe, Polar's s3 Stride Sensor, The Polar WearLink transmitter, and The Polar RS800 Running Computer."
